Head of IT and Computing

We seek to appoint for September 2025, a well-qualified and visionary Head of IT and Computing.

We currently offer a number of both vocational and academic IT and Computing courses to both KS4 and KS5 learners and are keen to extend our current academic provision further and to include A-Level Computing. These courses are underpinned by our KS3 provision which covers all requirements of the national curriculum in its designated lessons.

Our ideal candidate will be:

• A well-qualified professional.

• An outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record of excellent results and a compelling vision for improvement.
• A colleague with experience of curriculum leadership, for example as a 2i/c.
• Experienced in teaching KS3, 4 & 5 in Computing & IT
• A collegiate approach and experience in supporting the development of colleagues.
• A team player, able to lead and inspire others.
• Fully supportive of the culture and ethos of our Catholic school.
