Your new job working as a Senior Technician/Operations Technician means you will be working for a Specialist Global Insurance and Reinsurance Broker based in the heart of the City. Your new brokers are a long-standing broking advisory expert in global multi-class insurance and reinsurance broking within the emerging and developed countries.

They are an expanding business that has a focus on providing broking support and expert advice to clients. A new opportunity has arisen within their team for an individual to join and provide technical support to the MENA regions as a Senior Technician/Operations Technician.

Your new role

Your new role working as a Senior Technician/Operations Technician will be all encompassing to include Technical and Overseas Broking, You will be dealing with MENA and related markets where you will be required to support an existing book of predominantly wholesale multi class reinsurance business introduced by local brokers or insurer cedants in the MENA and other emerging markets.
Your duties will be working closely with the Brokers and Producing Brokers, responsible for the creation of MRC slips, endorsements and other broking documents, and you will assist in the placement of overseas Broking, liaising with producing Brokers and Brokers directly.
Other duties will include producing all closing documents and invoices ensuring that they are correctly inputted into the IT broking systems including PPL. You will also provide support in ongoing servicing of the client portfolio and assist the head of the division in the production of new enquiries.

You will also provide Technical support and work closely with their Underwriter regarding uploading information and creating relevant documents including admin support. This opportunity covers all classes of Non Marine to include Property, Casualty, PV, Terrorism Etc.

What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience working as a Broker Back up Technician/ Broker Support Technician who can produce MRC slips will contribute to your success in securing this role. Ideally you will be CERT CII qualified or working towards.
