Your new permanent job as a Broker Operations technician means you will be working in the Operations teams and be responsible for managing relationships with external partners (e.g., Xchanging) and managing business transactions with direct clients and liaising with internal teams to facilitate business through

Your new role

Your new job working as Broker Operations Technician, means you will be responsible for the preparation and processing of premiums, claims, bordereaux, treaty statements and associated documentation, and you will be responsible for maintenance of the broking system.
It will be your job to communicate with underwriters, coverholders, direct clients and Xchanging, as well as be responsible for the processing of claims transactions between offices and via Xchanging’s various systems. You will be supporting processes for the syndicate’s direct outward reinsurance protection and supporting new business development activities.

Other duties will include supporting the other sections within Business Support where needed.

What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience working in a Technical operations capacity at a Broker, Insurer or a Third party such as Xchanging will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have Lloyd’s/London Market experience in a similar operational role, a solid technical knowledge of the following: Binding, insurance/ insurance, BDX, Xchanging systems and services.

Excel, as well as, the ability to interact with a diverse, excellent understanding of London, Lloyd's and international. Insurance markets, system processes, insurance reporting requirements.
