An esteemed and award-winning Special Educational Needs (SEN) school group is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join their permanent staff from April 2025 or sooner. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a team committed to providing outstanding education and support for children and young people with a range of special educational needs.
The Role:
The successful candidate will:- Plan, deliver, and adapt engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Support students with diverse SEN requirements, ensuring a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including SEN specialists, teaching assistants, and therapists.
- Foster a positive and structured classroom atmosphere to promote student development.
- Maintain strong communication with parents, carers, and external professionals.
- Previous UK classroom experience (essential)
- Experience working with children and young people with SEN (essential)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (desired but not essential)
- A strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
- Excellent communication, patience, and adaptability
- A commitment to fostering the well-being and progress of all students
