I am working with a family-owned care home company to help them find an Exceptional Registered Manager due to their immediate expansion in Norfolk. They have ambitious plans for the future and will be investing £15M in nursing/residential homes in the area.
As a Home Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the home. The candidate will be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and be familiar with all the relevant legislation and regulations. You will be responsible for ensuring that the home provides high-quality care and support to the residents, whilst meeting financial targets and maintaining full occupancy.
Duties will include:- Leadership and direction to the staff team, promoting a culture of kindness,
- Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a team of skilled care professionals
- Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the
- Manage the home’s budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are
- Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to maintain full occupancy
stakeholders.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and all
- Oversee all records to ensure the home’s administrative tasks are completed in
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the home’s performance, identifying areas
- Manage and mitigate risks effectively, ensuring a safe and secure environment
for residents and staff.
For this role you must have:- Previous experience managing a nursing / residential home.
- A strong working knowledge of CQC standards
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working
- A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care
- Enthusiasm and passion for developing high levels of person-centred care.
- Ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service.
- Education and qualification
- Preferably NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience
(desirable but not essential).
