Trust Estates & Facilities Manager - Blackburn - ref. e36308919
Due to the expansion of the Trust, we seek to appoint an Estates & Facilities Manager on a part-time basis working two days per week. The actual salary for two days per week will be £19,747 to £21,407 (based on FTE £48,710 to £52,805 pa).
The Job:
- To lead on the development and implementation of a Trust Estates Strategy and Asset Management Plan.
- To oversee all aspects of the Trust Estate operations, including upkeep, maintenance, security and facilities management in line with statutory and regulatory requirements to help provide a safe and secure learning environment for both staff and pupils.
- To support and oversee refurbishment, expansion and other building improvements in terms of bidding, developing, procuring and implementing building projects within all Trust schools.
- To support the Chief Operating Officer (COO) with the preparation of a strategic Trust Estate Strategy and Asset Management Plan, including the development of individual Asset Management Plans for each school.
- 5 GCSE’s grades 5 to 9 including English and Maths.
- Qualification in Estates or Facilities Management.
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office 365.
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to work with tight deadlines.
- Full UK driving licence and possess a vehicle to travel.
- A good understanding of procurement processes.
- Managing premises in a multi-site organisation.
- Facilities management in a similar role.
- Experience in delivering large capital projects.
