Flexible Bookkeeper - Working from Home - UK-wide.
Are you looking for a part-time flexible role where you can use your brilliant bookkeeping skills?
We need self-motivated people to join our team of home-based bookkeepers.
What do we do?
From bookkeeping and credit control to admin, diary management and research, Vi-VA's team provide high quality virtual support to entrepreneurs, small businesses, and membership organisations throughout the UK.
Who are we looking for?
Someone who holds a recognised bookkeeping qualification would be ideal, however most importantly we want enthusiastic, self-motivated people, who thrive off building long-term relationships with customers, finding ways to help their small businesses run smoothly and more efficiently.
You must:
- Be great with numbers and have bookkeeping experience, preferably in Xero or QuickBooks - or be willing to learn these packages in your own time.
- Demonstrate a flexible attitude to your work and be happy working on bookkeeping and some admin tasks if required.
- Have high attention to detail and take responsibility for double checking your own work.
- Be a top-notch and proactive problem solver who is well organised and self-motivated with a 'can-do' attitude.
- Work well under pressure and have enviable multi-tasking, time management and prioritising skills.
- Be a strong communicator - on the phone, in person and online.
- Work in a structured, methodical way to meet deadlines, using initiative and planning ahead.
- Have experience of a wide range of software including MS Office
Hours of work are flexible, depending on the clients you're working with. The amount of work will build up gradually over the first few months, but ideally we are looking for people to work around 20 hours per week or more.
The role is offered on a self-employed basis, but we can advise and offer full support in setting this up, so paperwork is minimal.
