Job Duties:
- Deliver high-quality English and Maths GCSE tutoring to students in the East of England, specifically in Braintree, Essex.
- Develop individualised lesson plans based on students' needs and assessment results.
- Provide academic support and guidance to help students achieve their learning objectives.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a collaborative learning environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths at the GCSE level.
- A relevant teaching qualification or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Education:
A degree in Education, English, Maths, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths at the GCSE level.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Deep understanding of the GCSE curriculum for English and Maths.
- Ability to engage and motivate students to achieve academic success.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Additional certifications in education or tutoring.
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time hours with flexibility in scheduling.
- Work primarily in educational settings such as the learners home or community centres.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
