Job Duties:
- Provide individualised instruction to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in GCSE level English and Maths
- Create tailored lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with other educators and professionals to support student learning
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Strong knowledge of the GCSE English and Maths curriculum
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Previous experience teaching GCSE level English and Maths to students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs
- Strong classroom management skills
Working Conditions:
- Full-time hours, with some flexibility required
- Potential for remote teaching depending on circumstances
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
