This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN), supporting their academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH (social, emotional, and mental health) challenges.
- Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour plans, tailoring support to meet each student’s needs.
- Promote positive behaviour, resilience, and confidence in students, helping them to engage fully in their learning.
- Collaborate with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other support staff to deliver effective interventions.
- Support students in developing essential social and life skills.
- Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environment.
- Provide feedback to staff on student progress, helping to evaluate and refine support strategies.
We are looking for a Psychology Graduate who:
- Holds a degree in Psychology (or a closely related field).
- Has a strong interest in supporting children and young people with special educational needs.
- Demonstrates empathy, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Is proactive, adaptable, and works effectively as part of a team.
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ideally has some prior experience working with children or young people (e.g., volunteering, placements, or paid roles), although this is not essential.
Job Benefits:
- Valuable Experience: Develop practical skills and insights by working in a leading SEN school with students who have diverse needs.
- Professional Development: Access to training and resources to support your career growth in SEN or related fields.
- Supportive Environment: Join a collaborative team dedicated to creating positive outcomes for students.
