Resourcing Operations Manager

You’ll need to be able to structure your own day to meet demands, as well as managing the team’s workload, and be a strong communicator who is able to manage stakeholders.

• 4-5 EO Resourcing Advisors (with wider activity management for an additional 4-5 Advisors).

• Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Resourcing Operations team for UK recruitment and onboarding, setting work priorities, creating clear plans and managing the team’s workload.
• Develop and coach the team to provide a centre of excellence and build capability, in turn building hiring manager capability across the department and ensuring guidance is regularly updated. Manage poor performance and support personal development plans.
• Management of the team’s shared mailboxes and trackers, ensuring first line responses to all stakeholders are delivered in accordance with, or ahead of, the team’s Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Strategically manage and mitigate risks before they happen, acting as first point of escalation for complaints and flagging to the Senior Management Team where necessary.
• Production and analysis of recruitment data to forecast workload and forward-plan.
• Responsibility for compliance with the Civil Service Commission’s Recruitment Principles, Civil Service Nationality Rules and Right to Work legislation.
• Lead on continuous improvement project work. This would involve working closely with our team of Strategic Resourcing Partners, and will have a focus on process improvements and empowerment of Hiring Managers.
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including other Resourcing Hub teams, HR Business Partners, DBT Security, Government Recruitment Service (GRS), DBT’s Learning & Talent Team, and other Government Departments to achieve shared goals and objectives.
