Sen Teaching Assistant
Location: Telford, starting ASAP January 2025
Pay Rate: £80 - £95 per day
About the Role:We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support the class teacher and work on a 1:1 basis with students in need of additional support. This role offers flexible hours and is available on a full-time, part-time, or contract basis.
The position is starting in January 2025, and we're looking to fill it as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the class teacher in delivering lessons
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students
- Assist with behaviour management
- Promote a safe and positive learning environment
- Adhere to child protection and safeguarding guidelines
- Level 3 qualification or a minimum of 6 months' experience in an educational setting
- Strong communication skills
- A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures
- Experience supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Excellent behavior management skills
- A dedicated team of consultants available 24/7 to assist with a smooth onboarding process
