An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Diabetic eye screening team based at Florence Nightingale Community Hospital. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our dedicated admin team. The successful candidate will have administrative, reception, customer service or call centre experience.

They should also have excellent telephone & interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer/patient care and a flexible approach to working.

This role has lots of job satisfaction on a daily basis as you’ll be helping patients and their families with their requirements and providing administration support in their on-going healthcare. As a Call handler your main responsibilities will be mainly be answering the telephone to book or re-arrange patients appointments and general office duties to ensure the smooth running of our service. There will also be some reception duties as part of this role.

Duties will be varied and will include inputting data on to Trust computer systems, reception cover as well as other clerical duties required to support the efficient and effective running of the department. Full training will be provided.

This is a part-time 28.5 hours per week, worked over five days; Monday, Tuesday, between the hours of 09:00-17.00 and Wed, Thur, Fri between the hours of 12:30pm - 5pm. The successful post holder will be expected to cover colleagues in times of sickness and annual leave.
