As an integral member of the Ophthalmic nursing team, the post holder will provide support to other members of the multidisciplinary team, in the provision of high-quality patient care. Always provide a range of non-nursing duties ensuring an effective service to the unit.
Carry out specialised ophthalmic tests and procedures that contribute to the efficient running of the service and pre-tests for the medical staff. To ensure that all patients, visitors and staff are treated in a courteous, professional and caring manner and receive prompt assistance when required.
