Senior Planner - Highways - London

Senior Project Planner for Highways Projects required to assist Planning team and operations team in updating P6 Programmes producing short term programmes and co-ordinating collaborative planning activities

Must be able to attend site and be able to pass a BPSS

• Ensuring that the programme content is functionally compliant with the planning procedures and guidance Skilled in Identifying planning scope major constraints and contract requirements alongside identifying major quantities and factors affecting the programme
• Displaying and evaluating the project critical path advising the project team of the results and any appropriate corrective action alongside producing and maintaining project baselines and execute the change control process as appropriate
• Resource Management Expertise in managing labour equipment and materials efficiently to meet project objectives while minimizing costs and delays

• Competent in project management tools and software like Excel MS Project Primavera P6
• knowledge of construction including construction methodology various phases processes and requirements to facilitate effective project planning
• Knowledge in project scheduling including the ability to create manage and optimize project schedules using industry-standard tools

• Demonstrated experience in successfully planning and managing projects using planning software like P6 Microsoft Project
• Previous experience in managing relationships with project stakeholders demonstrating effective communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in construction or other sectors with transferable skills that align with the demands of the construction field
