School Facilities Manager
My client is looking for a Facilities Manager to work at a School around the Sutton area. This is a Full-time Permanent role, and it will be working 36 hours per week all year round.
Salary: 6/S01 scale point 16-25 (£33,417-38,058)
This role will be working on a 4-week shift pattern: Week A- 13.30-21.30 (Monday-Friday)
Week B- 6.30-14.30 (Monday-Friday)Week C- Monday- OFF, 10.30-18.30 (Tuesday-Thursday), Friday- OFF, 8.45-17.15 (Saturday), 7.30-13.45 (Sunday)
Week D- 8.00-16.00 (Monday-Thursday), 10.00-18.00 (Friday)
Ideally candidates will have:-- Previous experience working as a School Premises or Facilities Manager
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety
- Knowledge of operation CCTV and alarm systems
- Strategic planning
- Experience in managing contracts and liaising with contractors
- The ability to prioritise
- Managing lettings
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
- Good knowledge of identifying what services, maintenance and repairs are needed
- IT skills such as using a variety of Microsoft packages
- Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with staff, pupils and parents
- Excellent organisation skills
- Recognised Facilities Management/Building Services/Contract Management related qualification or working towards equivalent NVQ level 4
- NEBOSH Health and Safety qualification or equivalent
- Candidates must hold a Current Enhanced DBS or be eligible for one
