Job Title: Maths Tutor

£20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to students in Mathematics
- Create and implement individualised lesson plans based on student's needs
- Assist students with homework assignments and test preparation
- Monitor and assess student progress to adjust teaching strategies as needed
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Maths Tutor or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics curriculum and teaching methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching techniques to meet the needs of individual students
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
Experience:
Prior experience working with students in a tutoring or teaching capacity
Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Proficiency in using educational technology and resources
- Ability to motivate and engage students in learning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education or Mathematics
- Additional certifications in teaching or tutoring
Working Conditions:
This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The Maths Tutor will primarily work with students in an educational setting, providing support and guidance in Mathematics. The ability to travel to different locations within South East England may be required.
