Teaching Assistant (TA) – Afternoons Only – Supporting a Child with ADHD
Location: Bispham⏰ Hours: Afternoons only (exact times to be discussed)
Contract: Part-time, term-time only
Salary: Dependent on experience
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support a child with ADHD in a school setting in Bispham. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, proactive, and passionate about making a difference in a child’s learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to a child with ADHD, helping them stay engaged and focused.
- Implement strategies to support learning, emotional regulation, and social development.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt learning activities.
- Encourage positive behaviour and support transitions throughout the school day.
Ideal Candidate:
✔️ Experience working with children, preferably those with ADHD or SEN.✔️ Understanding of behaviour management strategies.
✔️ A calm, nurturing, and adaptable approach.
✔️ Ability to build a strong rapport with the child and work effectively as part of a team.
