Trainee Teaching Assistant - Leeds
Location: Pontefract, WF7
Salary: £83.85-£95 per day
Teaching Personnel are looking for Trainee Teaching Assistants to support schools in Pontefract area. The ideal candidate will be able to travel across schools and have prior experience working with children or hold a relevant childcare qualification.
Main Duties:
- Support the Class Teacher with resources and lessons
- Manage classroom behaviour
- Supervise during breaktimes and lunchtimes
- Support pupils who require additional support in the classroom
Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
- Willing to travel
- Have an overseas criminal clearance or willing to apply for one
- Have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
- Minimum of six months UK residency
- We do not accept those on skilled worker visas
- Please ensure you have references available upon request covering the last 24 months of employment
