We are seeking a skilled and proactive Project Coordinator to support the Capital Projects team in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. You will lead small to medium-sized projects, contribute to larger schemes, and ensure compliance with governance processes.

The role also involves optimising workspace efficiency, coordinating capital programmes, managing budgets, and producing financial and progress reports. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in achieving strategic objectives within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive candidate to coordinate and support the delivery of projects, ensuring all documentation, schedules, and workflows are effectively managed. This role involves maintaining accurate project files, collaborating with stakeholders to align on requirements, scheduling contractor activities, and preparing reports for key meetings.
The candidate will oversee space utilisation strategies, lead smaller projects, manage post-project reviews, and resolve challenges during project execution. Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills are essential, along with experience in project coordination and an understanding of space planning.

The role involves setting up and maintaining project documentation, ensuring all key files are accurate and up to date to prevent delays. The candidate will collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure workflows are in place, including signed-off drawings, budgets, contracts, and compliance documents.
They will be responsible for preparing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating contractor activities in line with client needs, and arranging necessary surveys such as asbestos assessments. The role also includes preparing reports for project meetings, attending and documenting discussions, and ensuring follow-ups are completed.
The candidate will oversee space utilisation strategies, conduct workspace assessments, and engage with department heads to align spatial requirements with business needs. Additionally, they will lead small projects, ensure all elements such as signage, furniture, and staff moves are accounted for, and drive problem-solving throughout project execution.

Regularly reviewing and updating standard work procedures, scheduling post-project reviews, and maintaining compliance with project costings and plans are also key responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
