Veterinary Receptionist

My client is a reputable and well-established Veterinary practice based in the Yeovil area. They pride themselves on providing outstanding levels of service for both clients and pets. They offer a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and have a fantastic, modern, and well-equipped surgery.

Due to continued growth, they now have a wonderful opportunity for a friendly, positive, and enthusiastic person to join their excellent reception team on a Full-Time, Permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will be someone with great customer service skills, who is empathetic, customer focused, confident and who has the ability to multitask. They will be outgoing, pro-active and eager to learn. Previous reception experience within a veterinary practice is desirable but not essential.

The role will be based on a 4 day per week with occasional weekends. Typical duties include meeting and greeting clients, dealing with queries by e-mail and phone, taking payments, booking appointments, dispensing medication and other administration duties.

The salary is circa £12 per hour (depending on experience) and the company provides a generous benefits package which includes 28 days annual leave (inc BH), private medical insurance, a medical cash plan and discount on your own pets.
