Post 16 Tutor

Are you passionate about supporting post-16 students to achieve their full potential? We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Post-16 Tutor to join our team and provide high-quality tuition to students.

• Deliver engaging and tailored lessons to students aged 16+ (A-Level, BTEC, Functional Skills, etc.).
• Support students in improving their knowledge, confidence, and exam techniques.
• Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs.
• Provide constructive feedback and track student progress.
• Work closely with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure academic success.

• Location: Oxford
• Position: Post 16 Tutor
• Hours: up to 25 hours per week
• Start date: As soon as possible
• Duration: ongoing until a school placement is found
• Contract Type: Temporary/part-time
• Pay rate: from £25 per hour

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications is preferred
• Demonstrated experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Possess UK classroom teaching experience and experience delivering tailored lesson plans
• Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
• Have experience working with challenging behaviour and disengaged pupils

• Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
• Provide two professional child-related references.
