Part Time Accounts Assistant - Cirencester
Our well established, high-end client are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join their close-knit team to support with the Accounts Function. This will be a permanent opportunity based from their offices located in the picturesque village of Cirencester.
Our client pride themselves on their passion and commitment to providing their customers with the best service and local knowledge possible. This role will be instrumental in supporting the Business and Finance Manager with all accounting and administrative duties.
The ideal candidate will have previous accounts / finance experience with a positive and pro-active attitude. They are a small team therefore, a willingness to get stuck in is essential as well as a good sense of humour and a love for the countryside.
Responsibilities: General duties
- Daily cashbook and petty cash
- Sales Ledger, input of invoices and debtor reporting
- Purchase Ledger, keying of invoices and payment runs
- Management of customer and supplier accounts
- Purchasing office sundries and gifts, management of amazon account
- Vat return
- Banking of cheques
- Assisting with payroll and all new starter documents
Lettings
tenants in and tenants out.
- Lettings invoices and landlord payments
- Client bank account management, recording and reconciliations
- Rural management client accounts
- Clients vat returns
- Client Financial accounts, or data to clients nominated accountants
- Previous accounts experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- A proactive approach to work with the ability to use your own initiative
- A team player with excellent communication and customer service skills
- Flexible approach to work and willingness to get stuck in
Hours: 25 – 30 hours per week Monday – Friday, between the hours of 9am – 5:30pm
Salary: Up to £28k pro rata per annum depending on experience
