HR and Facilities Manager

Reed HR are supporting our client in the creative industry with a HR and Facilites Manager role. This position is perfect for an HR expert with outstanding communication abilities and demonstrated management experience. In this role, you will support the Finance Director and Management Team, handle all facets of human resources, and supervise office operations to maintain efficiency, compliance, and a productive work environment.
Further duties include:
Human Resources:
- Oversee HR operations, ensuring smooth execution of processes.
- Coordinate recruitment, conduct interviews, and manage contract administration.
- Maintain personnel files in compliance with GDPR.
- Oversee onboarding, probation reviews, and attendance monitoring.
- Provide HR advice and support to management on personnel issues and compliance.
- Manage performance reviews, job descriptions, and organization charts.
- Conduct salary reviews and liaise with the Finance team on payroll and HR-related financial processes.
- Handle immigration, visas, and work permits.
- Organize company events and manage quarterly HR reporting.
Facilities Management:
- Oversee daily office operations, ensuring all systems function efficiently.
- Manage routine and emergency maintenance, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Review contracts for office services and manage office supplies.
- Conduct safety audits and ensure the security of premises.
- Manage office budgets and serve as the main point of contact for facility-related issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- CIPD qualification or HR Degree.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within the creative or media sector.
- In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain quality relationships with suppliers and contractors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven ability to supervise, delegate, and monitor tasks effectively.
