We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to fulfil the role of Administration Team Co-ordinator. You will work closely with the Administration Services Manager providing administration leadership, management, training and support to become part of our highly valued Therapy team.
The successful candidate will have a positive “can-do” approach and be able to work on their own initiative. You will have excellent organisational and IT skills and be a good communicator both face to face and on the telephone. You will be confident, enthusiastic, and eager to learn with experience of dealing with conflicting demands.You will be an excellent team player and will provide patient coordination and care in ensuring a smooth and efficient pathway for patients navigating through the Therapy services.

Main duties of the job
To provide a comprehensive administration service to support the day to day running of the Physiotherapy/ Occupational Therapy/ Speech and Language Therapy team.
To access a number of different electronic systems eg Cerner EPR, Systmone, Compucare etc to ensure that therapy data is recorded accurately and in a timely manner. To use electronic data systems such as e-rostering to produce regular compliance reports for managers eg sickness.To be responsible for ensuring that all staff data is recorded accurately on the Trusts e-roster system, ensuring information is updated in a timely manner, and responding to staff queries/ issues as required.
To work with the Administration Manager to provide leadership management, supervision, and development of an effective flexible administrative support team. In addition the post holder will have an important role in assisting the Administration Manager as a focal point for communication for all staff within the admin/secretarial team.To supervise and delegate work to admin/secretarial staff, participate in Trust and local inductions for new starters, staff training, appraisals, approving annual leave and managing sickness.
The post holder will support the Therapy team in delivering a high standard of care to patients. This will involve being in daily contact with staff, patients and other members of the multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications
Essential criteria- NVQ Level 3 in Business administration or equivalent*
- Good standard of education equivalent of Maths and English GCSE at Grade C or above*
- RSA2 Typing
Experience
Essential criteria- Administration experience for clinical team/ working in customer /patient focused environment
- Working experience/knowledge of computers, spreadsheets, data input and word processing and databases. Able to produce reports from excel and other data systems
- Experience of working in hospital/ NHS environment
- Experience of managing staff
Skills
Essential criteria- Excellent communication skills at all levels, verbal and written
- Effective organisational skills, prioritising and time management skills
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Knowledge
Essential criteria- Understanding of Information Governance and Confidentiality
