I am delighted to inform you of an exciting opportunity within the clinical administration service. The role is a non patient facing role within the Central Admin Hub providing support to several community leads and operational managers. We have a requirement to fill this essential role to support the needs of these managers as soon as possible.

Main duties of the job

The Administrator role will provide an efficient, effective and high quality administrative support to health and social care professionals within a community based or district wide team.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • • Level 2 qualification in relevant field or equivalent level of Experience. (e.g. GCSE A-C or RSA II)
  • • EDCL or equivalent
Desirable criteria
  • • Business admin qualification

Experience

Essential criteria
  • • Customer service experience (e.g. face to face, answering calls or correspondence)
  • • Administration/office experience (i.e. diary management, electronic filing systems, meeting preparation, note taking, inputting data, collating and presenting information)
  • • Providing administrative or secretarial support.
  • • Experience of organising competing demands and workloads.
  • • Experience of setting up and maintaining administrative systems and processes.
  • • Experience of working autonomously and proactively
Desirable criteria
  • • Administration/office experience supporting senior management/clinical functions within the public sector.
  • • Experience of audio typing/digital dictation (e.g. BigHand)
  • • Previous NHS experience
  • • Workflow management experience (e.g. job allocation)
