The mum will be around until her Maternity leave is finished and later the nanny will take over as sole charge, however the parents also work from home during the week so there will be plenty of support. Someone pet-friendly is ideal as they have a small dog.
A driver who holds a full driving license is required for this position.
They prefer someone who could speak the Portuguese language however they can consider English-speaking candidates. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm, 30 hours per week and happy to offer up to 35 hours per week
Accommodation: The nanny will have a guest bedroom with bathroom on the top floor with a kitchen, fridge and oven. The accommodation is available from Monday afternoon/evening until Friday monring/afternoon. The nanny will have to go home for the weekend.
Duties include:
preparing milkorganising the children’s daily schedule
changing nappies
cleaning and sterilising bottles
setting up nap routine
washing and dressing them
playing with them
helping the toddler with potty/toilet training
teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners
creating activities and playdates
preparing and administering healthy food for the toddler
laundry and ironing after the children
cleaning up after the meals
maintaining the children's room and play areas tidy at all times
They are looking for someone to hire in mid-November 2024 but flexible for the right nanny.
