We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Operations Coordinator to support the Cancer Care PPC Team Leaders.
The post holders will manage Administrative Team Leaders and provide particular guidance around supporting HR processes as well as supporting access processes within the care group, such as providing validation support.
Cancer Care is a compassionate, dynamic and high profile care group which covers a wide range of specialties from treatments for patients with cancer including chemotherapy and radiotherapy to a Regional Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. We are also the Regional Primary Treatment Centre for Teenagers.
Cancer Care at UHS covers Medical Oncology, Clinical Oncology, Palliative Care and Haematology. We are a specialist regional centre and provide care to patients across Hampshire as well as the Isle of Wight and Channel Islands.

You will line manage a number of Specialty Administrative Team Leaders to ensure that our administrative staff have all the support and guidance they need to deliver excellent patient care. You will be responsible for ensuring that your team are adhering to the most suitable and efficient pathways.You will also need to troubleshoot for ad hoc issues and escalate potential issues that may arise. Your role will also involve working closely with the Access Manager for Cancer care providing support in validation and working with data.
You will be a strong, fair leader with good organisational skills and a passion for excellence.
We are looking for a team player who is able to lead through change, support and motivate staff as well as work with a wide range of colleagues to bring out the best in a team. We are looking for someone who already has experience leading a team and an understanding of support required for HR processes.
