Position: DT Teacher (Key Stage 3)Location: Blaydon (NE21)
Contract: Full-Time, Temp to Permanent

The Role:They are looking for a reliable, confident, and dedicated DT teacher to cover Key Stage 3. You will play a key role in delivering engaging and accessible Science lessons to students, The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with young people and be able to build strong, trusting relationships with students, helping them feel secure and supported in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver the curriculum as required to students
- Responsible for creating and delivering lesson plans, adjusting to each group/year where required.
- Accountable for students progress within class.
- Have a clear understanding of each students needs.
- Produce accurate and productive assessments of students progression.
Requirements:
- A UK Teaching Qualification with QTS is desirable for this role.
- Prior experience teaching GCSE Design & Technology within a Secondary School/FE setting.
- Hold a minimum Bachelors degree within the subject.
- Have an up to date DBS registered on the Update Service or issued within 3 weeks.
