We are a charity which runs Child contact centres where children of separated families can enjoy contact with one or both parents in a comfortable, neutral and safe environment, when there is no viable alternative.
Key tasks, duties and responsibilities:- Set up the venue and carry out health and safety checks and risk assessments
- Meet and greet the resident and non resident parents and children
- Facilitate and encourage positive interaction
- Support the family with the care of the child eg nappy changing or feeding
- Support the family’s understanding of the process
- Provide refreshments.
- To be aware of and adhere to policy and practice guidelines on :
- Confidentiality
- Health and safety
- Child protection
- Equality and Diversity
