Pay Rate: £120-£145 per day for the first 6 weeks, with an increase for long-term booking

Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to cover an adoption leave vacancy for a Year 8 class. This full-time position is available immediately and will run until June 2024. Given our upcoming expansion, there is potential for this role to become a permanent position in another class if the teacher wishes to stay on.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching: Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Year 8 students, following the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment, addressing any behavioural issues promptly and effectively.
- Student Support: Provide individual support to students, helping them to achieve their academic and personal goals.
- Assessment: Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and reports to students and parents.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver a cohesive educational experience.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching at the secondary level, preferably with Year 8 students.
