Grade 09 £28,624-£31,067 FTE (Pro Rata £22,180 - £24,073) per annumMeadowbrook Primary School are looking to appoint an exceptional Office Manager to join their team who will coordinate and manage a high quality administrative and clerical support service to the school.
The role is offered on a part time basis, working 32.5 hours per week, 8:30am to 4:00pm daily (including 1-hour unpaid lunchbreak). The successful candidate will work term time only, plus 5 INSET days, plus 1 week in the school holidays totalling 40 weeks per year.
You will be responsible for:- Leading the administrative team; prioritising and delegating incoming tasks and maintaining key administrative processes.
- Logging staff absences and supporting the arrangement of cover.
- Managing all monetary transactions within the school including purchasing, credit control, staff expenses and generating sales invoices. Therefore, experience in this area would be advantageous but training can be provided.
- Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.You will have the following key skills and experience:• Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven track record of your ability to work as part of a team in a customer facing role.
- A good track record of implementing administrative services and data entry processes.
- Dealing with multiple conflicting priorities under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of data protection and confidentiality.
- High levels of numeracy, accuracy and organisational skills. Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Good interpersonal skills with both adults and children.
- All candidates must be educated to a minimum of GCSE standard Grade 4 or above, or equivalent qualification, to include Maths and English. The ideal candidate will have NVQ level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent experience and other relevant qualification.
