Role Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutor to join our team in Didcot. You will work one-on-one with students who have a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other learning difficulties. This role requires a creative approach to teaching, adapting methods to suit each student’s unique learning style.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, tailored tutoring sessions that meet the individual needs of each student.
- Support students in developing academic skills across various subjects, focusing on both progress and well-being.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to create personalized learning plans.
- Provide constructive feedback to students, helping them build confidence and self-regulation skills.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student growth.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN in a tutoring, teaching, or support capacity.
- Knowledge of different SEN conditions and experience using effective teaching strategies.
- Strong communication skills with a patient, empathetic approach.
- Relevant qualifications in education, SEN, or a related field are preferred but not essential.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
