Our client, a well-established and welcoming Nursing Home, is looking for a dedicated Staff Nurse to join their team. Specialising in mental health and dementia care, this service provides a safe and homely environment where residents can feel at ease.The care home boasts comfortable furnishings and inviting dining areas, ensuring a sense of relaxation and community.
This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and skilled nurse to make a meaningful impact on the lives of adults and older adults with mental health needs, dementia, and challenging behaviours. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care while supporting the well-being and dignity of residents.
What We’re Looking For?- Registered Nurse (RMN, RGN or RNLD considered) with relevant experience in mental health, dementia care, or challenging behaviour support.
- A valid UK NMC Pin
- A compassionate and patient-focused approach, with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide mentorship to junior staff.
- Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding, mental health frameworks, and person-centred care principles.
- Competitive pay of £20 per hour with a 36-hour per week contract.

Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care to residents with mental health conditions, dementia, and complex needs.
- Managing and responding effectively to challenging behaviours with a compassionate approach.
- Leading and supporting a team of care staff to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Administering medication safely and accurately.
- Developing and implementing personalised care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensuring compliance with CQC standards and best practice guidelines.
