Overview:** As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high

  • quality care to residents in our care home.
You will be responsible for supervising and supporting a team of care assistants, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care services to our residents.
**Duties:**
  • Supervise and lead a team of care assistants to ensure the smooth running of daily care activities within the care home.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on residents' well-being and progress.
  • Oversee the administration of medication and treatments in accordance with care plans and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of residents' care plans, progress notes, and any incidents that occur during shifts.
  • Assist in organizing and participating in recreational activities for residents to promote social engagement and overall well-being.
**Experience:**
  • Previous experience in a senior care role within a care home setting is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively.
  • Proficiency in IT systems for record-keeping and communication purposes.
  • A valid driver's license may be advantageous for certain duties within the role.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, families, and colleagues effectively.
  • Knowledge of developing and implementing care plans tailored to senior care needs.
