I am working on behalf of a social housing provider dedicated to delivering high-quality housing solutions and services to their community. Job Description- Conduct day-to-day responsive repair surveys to identify and diagnose maintenance issues in our housing stock.
- Perform HHSRS assessments to ensure all properties comply with health and safety regulations.
- Provide detailed reports and recommendations based on survey findings.
- Liaise with contractors, residents, and other stakeholders to coordinate repair works and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Monitor and manage the quality of repair works carried out by external contractors.
- Ensure all works comply with relevant legislation, standards, and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of surveys, assessments, and repairs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance strategies and policies.
- Degree/HNC or equivalent qualification in Building Surveying or a related field.
- Relevant experience in conducting building surveys and HHSRS assessments, preferably within the social housing sector.
- Strong knowledge of building construction, repair techniques, and health and safety regulations.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using surveying software and other relevant IT tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritising work effectively.
