Exciting Opportunity at Strode College
Strode College is offering a unique and rewarding opportunity for dynamic, dedicated, and skilled tutors to join our pool of casual bank tutors. You will play a key role in delivering a diverse range of short courses for adult learners in a variety of subject areas.
As we continue to review and expand our adult short courses, we are looking for experienced tutors to help us meet the needs of our local community.
Do you have expertise in any of the following areas?- Digital Photography
- Sign Language
- Arts and Crafts
- Digital Skills
- Basic Maths
- Cookery
- Managing Stress and Anxiety / Mental Health
If you have experience in any of these fields and are passionate about inspiring others to learn new skills, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Proven experience in teaching, training, or assessing adult learners (desirable but not essential)
- A genuine passion for helping adults gain new skills, whether for employment, personal growth, or increased confidence
- In-depth knowledge and experience in your chosen subject area
- A strong commitment to equal opportunities and safeguarding
- Excellent organisational skills
- A dedication to achieving high-quality results and meeting performance targets, while maintaining personal excellence
