Reporting into our Back-Office Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for providing 3rd line support, troubleshooting, and engineering solutions for the systems supporting Signet’s online trading capabilities.This role involves working across a diverse range of technologies and platforms, including package solutions and bespoke systems, with a focus on ensuring smooth operations and integrating various systems. About the JobTypical Duties
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide 3rd line technical support for online trading systems and integrations.
- Perform engineering tasks on Signet UK-managed online trading systems.
- Advise and direct third-party providers of support and engineering services.
- Identify, implement, and manage alerts to proactively and reactively monitor services and prevent repeat incidents.
- Ensure that all work complies with security requirements, particularly regarding PCI-DSS, SOx, and GDPR.
- Participate in an on-call rota and provide out-of-hours incident response during peak trading periods.
- Create and maintain documentation related to systems, data flows, and troubleshooting processes.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, even with unfamiliar technologies.
- Proven experience in IT development using modern languages like Java, Python, or .Net.
- A successful track record of designing, configuring, and monitoring IT systems.
- Demonstrable knowledge of systems integration.
- Strong communication skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
- The ability to build relationships with both technical and non-technical colleagues and suppliers.
- A “can do” attitude, taking initiative and working proactively without waiting for direction.
- The ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
