Part-time (22.5 hours per week)

We’re now seeking a Head of University Admissions – a highly organised and inspiring individual with a passion for supporting young people as they take their next steps. This is a key role in our Futures team, responsible for leading a comprehensive, ambitious and pupil-centred approach to university applications in the UK and overseas.
Working 22.5 hours per week, you will take ownership of the full application cycle, from designing engaging Higher Education events and tutor programmes, to overseeing UCAS references and guiding pupils through the Clearing process. You’ll also ensure every pupil – and their family – feels informed, prepared and empowered when exploring their options.Working closely with the Head of Futures, Deputy Head Academic and Assistant Head Sixth Form, you will help shape a culture of aspiration and confidence across the Sixth Form.
This is a role with real impact – one that blends expert guidance with outstanding pastoral care, and strategic oversight with close personal support.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has excellent knowledge of the UCAS process and international university admissions, especially US applications.
- Brings a collaborative, clear-headed approach to managing deadlines and systems.
- Is a confident communicator, able to lead events, assemblies and training for staff, pupils and parents.
- Can write and review compelling references and guide others to do the same.
- Values a team ethos and can work effectively across departments and both Habs schools.
