Role Overview:
The Teacher of German and/or French will be responsible for delivering high-quality language instruction to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The role involves planning and teaching engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the development of the Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) curriculum.The teacher will work collaboratively within the MFL team and the broader Business Communication Faculty to support student achievement and foster a positive learning environment.

- Support students with special educational needs and disabilities.
- Use formative and summative assessments to secure students' progress.
- Monitor progress, set targets, and plan subsequent lessons.
- Provide regular feedback to students.
- Establish clear rules and routines for behaviour.
- Promote good and courteous behaviour in accordance with the school's policy.
- Maintain good relationships with students and act decisively when necessary.
- Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school.
- Develop effective professional relationships with colleagues.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' achievements and well-being.
