“Pupils and staff feel proud to belong to this harmonious and welcoming school community”

Ofsted, February 2025

Following our successful visit from Ofsted, in which we were graded Good in all areas, we are now embarking on our next round of recruitment to ensure the highest standard of quality teaching for our students. We require a passionate Teacher of Art to join our well-resourced, friendly and high performing Creative Arts department.

As a Trust founded by the RSA and the school’s Chair of Governors a fellow of the RSA, we strive for excellence in the Arts and seek a teacher with the same vision. This is an incredibly exciting time to join Waseley because of the journey it is on and our state-of-the-art new school which is opening in September.

We are a school in the Central Regions School Trust, whose mission is social justice through exceptional schools. Therefore, this provides us with the opportunities, capabilities and desire to develop both our staff and students. We have a range of pathways and programmes tailored to the needs of staff at various levels of their career.

These include Middle Leadership Programmes as well as a Senior Leader Development Programmes. This is an incredible opportunity to put your career on the path you want it to take and work alongside a team of highly effective practitioners and who have lots of experience of coaching and mentoring.

Applications are welcomed from newly qualified as well as experienced professionals who possess the necessary drive and commitment to work with our students to contribute to the continued improvement of Waseley. In return there will be clear opportunities for personal and professional development.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

The completed form should be submitted by 9.00pm on Sunday 18th May.

All teachers are subject to the Conditions of Employment set out in their contract of employment and the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document. These detail the professional and particular duties required of teachers, together with requirements for Management time, Working time and Guaranteed planning and preparation time.

The Trust and its schools comply with these requirements in order to make reasonable demands of teachers.
