Calibration Technician – Electronic & RF Test Equipment

Responsibilities:
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Calibration Technician to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our world‑class electronic instruments. In this hands‑on role, you will perform calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance on a wide range of Keysight and third‑party equipment used in telecom, aerospace, defense, and high‑tech R&D environments.
- Calibrate, test, and verify high‑precision electronic and RF instruments, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, and related test equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance, functional testing, adjustments, and corrective repairs on Keysight and third‑party instrumentation.
- Troubleshoot complex electronic, RF, and measurement issues using advanced diagnostic and calibration methodologies.
- Ensure full compliance with ISO 17025 quality systems and UKAS accreditation requirements.
- Accurately record calibration results, measurement uncertainty, and quality documentation in calibration management systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to understand technical requirements and deliver reliable, customer‑focused calibration services
Qualifications:
- Technical education or apprenticeship in electronics, metrology, telecommunications, RF engineering, or a related discipline.
- Hands‑on experience in calibration laboratories, metrology environments, electronic repair, or test engineering roles.
- Proven working experience within ISO 17025 and/or UKAS‑accredited calibration environments.
- Strong practical knowledge of electronic and RF measurement equipment across multiple product families.
- Ability to diagnose, analyze, and resolve complex, non‑standard calibration and instrumentation issues.
- Strong communication skills with a detail‑oriented, quality‑focused, and customer‑centric mindset
