You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, oversee staff development, and foster strong relationships with families and the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the nursery, including staff management, curriculum implementation, and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Lead and support a team of early years practitioners, promoting their professional development and ensuring a cohesive working environment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and guardians, promoting open communication about their children’s development and well-being.
• Oversee the planning and delivery of engaging activities that meet the needs of all children, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are met consistently for all children.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, and conduct regular assessments to monitor the nursery’s performance.

We are looking for a dynamic leader who is committed to providing high-quality early years education and has a genuine passion for working with children.

• A full and relevant Level 3 qualification or above in Early Years Education
• At least 3 years of proven management experience in a nursery or early years setting
• Thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and current childcare legislation
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
• Enhanced DBS check and safeguarding training
• Pediatric First Aid qualification is desirable
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
