Science Teacher - Glossop (Teaching Role)
Location: GlossopSalary: £140 - £200 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: April 2025
Are you an enthusiastic Science Teacher with a passion for inspiring young minds? A secondary school in Glossop is seeking a skilled and dynamic individual to teach science across KS3 and KS4.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging science lessons that cater to a range of learning abilities.
- Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of students in line with school policies.
- Contribute to the development of an exciting and innovative science curriculum.
- Support students with intervention sessions to improve their understanding and performance.
- Participate in school activities, such as science clubs and extracurricular events.
What We’re Looking For:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching science at KS3 and KS4 levels (specialism in biology, chemistry, or physics is an advantage).
- A strong commitment to student achievement and the ability to inspire a love for science.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
