The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a highly motivated Sales Executive to join our portfolio of eCommerce, digital marketing and payments events. These are rapidly changing markets, full of innovation, new tech, cool brands and great people.
Our Sales Executive will play a major role in driving revenue and growing our events. You will be selling across a range of sectors and products, including large-scale expos at the NEC and ExCeL, as well as smaller intimate roundtables and webinars.You will build strong relationships with your customers, always striving to do the best ROI for them and the most revenue for our events.
The role will involve collaboration with our marketing, content, and operations teams to develop tailored solutions. You will become fluent in the world of digital marketing, AI, logistics, payments, search, CX, AR, sustainability, re-platforming and much more!
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing an excellent service to an existing client base of loyal customers.
- Upsizing and growing spend from existing customers at our events.
- New business focus with the ability to find and convert new sponsors and exhibitors for our events.
- Understanding customer objectives and measures of success at our events.
- Strong sales behaviours demonstrated via our Salesforce CRM.
- Customer account management and relationship building.
- Managing your own pipeline and producing accurate forecasts.
- Participation in project meetings meetings and calls with the wider sales team and other departments.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours:
- Previous sales account management experience within a commercial role is desirable.
- Experience of live events or digital media sales experience is advantageous.
- Experience using a CRM system, such as Salesforce, is desirable.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work calmly when under pressure.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Creative and positive approach to problem solving.
