Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated manager to lead a well-established children's home, ensuring the highest standards of care for both staff and residents. This provider places a strong emphasis on work-life balance, enabling managers to perform at their best and meet the company's high standards.
The home is located in South Manchester, a vibrant area known for its leafy suburbs, cultural diversity, and excellent connectivity to the city centre. Wythenshawe offers great transport links, including the Manchester Metrolink, bus routes, and proximity to Manchester Airport and major motorways like the M56 and M60.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children, addressing safeguarding and child protection concerns swiftly and effectively.
- Provide high-quality care that meets the physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and cultural needs of the children in a supportive environment.
- Comply with the Children's Acts of 1989 and 2004, the Children's Homes Regulations 2015, and all other relevant legislation.
- Lead, develop, and supervise a dedicated team, offering ongoing support and training to help them excel.
- Oversee and regularly update each child's care plan to reflect their changing needs.
- Chair and participate in meetings and reviews as required.
- Support children in achieving their goals and reaching their full potential.
