ENGLISH TEACHER NEEDED
Location: BirminghamLength of Contract: MINIMUM of 2 full terms
Pay Rate: PAYED TO SCALE
Qualifications and Professional Development:- Qualified Teacher status
- Recent relevant Teaching experience
- Evidence of further professional training or development
- Evidence of a sound awareness of safeguarding
- Evidence of having worked within an environment that safeguards children
- Successful appropriate experience of teaching within KS3 and KS4
- Recent experience in a mainstream or special school
- Experience of teaching English at a good or outstanding level
- Experience/willingness to teach across a range of National Curriculum subjects
- Experience of teaching or supporting young people with SEND and/or SEMH
- High level of written and oral communication skills
- Good organisational skills
- Good inter-personal skills
- Ability to develop the speaking and listening of others.
- Ability to relate effectively to young people, staff, parents, and other stakeholders
- Ability to work in a team reliably and flexibly
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to cope with challenging behaviour calmly and effectively
- Ability to be flexible and work at different sites
- Ability to teach good and/or outstanding lessons
