Job Description- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing employment contracts, onboarding materials, and induction schedules.
- Facilitate new hire orientation sessions to introduce company policies, culture, and values.
- Liaise with IT and facilities teams to ensure new employees have the necessary tools and resources from day one.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HR system, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
- Assist in the preparation of HR reports and metrics related to recruitment and employee onboarding.
- Support HR initiatives such as employee engagement activities, training sessions, and diversity and inclusion programs.
- Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations that may impact HR and recruitment practices.
- Work closely with the HR team and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and provide recruitment support.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and enhancing the employee experience.
- Conduct thorough reference checks for shortlisted candidates, ensuring their qualifications and experience align with the role requirements.
- Coordinate background checks as needed, ensuring all checks are completed before extending job offers.
The Successful Applicant
A successful HR Advisor should have:
- CIPD Level 3
- Proficiency in HR systems and databases.
- Good knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A problem-solving mindset with a high level of confidentiality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and diverse environment.
- Experience in a similar role
- An estimated hourly wage of GBP 15.50 - GBP 18.00.
- Hours of 09:00 - 17:30 with flexible working hours also available.
