Are you a Maths enthusiast keen to share your subject knowledge to further the knowledge of the future Mathematicians? Are you looking to kickstart your career in education and make an impact in a classroom?

I’m working with a high-achieving Secondary school in Tower Hamlets who are looking to add a knowledgeable Maths Academic Mentor to their support staff to increase academic achievement across GCSE.

• Full-time term time only Maths Academic Mentor role | Long term contract until July 2025
• Role paying £420-£500 per week | Paid weekly on PAYE basis
• Ideal role for an aspiring Teacher keen to gain some hands-on experience.
• Has a Mathematics related degree from a Top 20 UK University

• Assist in planning Maths lessons to KS3 & KS4 students
• Receive mentorship from outstanding Maths Teachers and Lead Practitioners
• Assist Years 7-11 students applying to Top Universities -
• Support students in a classroom setting, 1:1, and through small group interventions for students who need extra support
• Work on increasing school attainment across the whole school
