About Our Client

• Manage the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring timely debt recovery
• Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and irregularities
• Investigate and resolve customer queries as they relate to payment
• Maintain accurate records and support the month-end financial close process
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail or personally
• Collaborate with the wider Accounting & Finance team to ensure smooth operations
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department
• Comply with all company's policies, procedures and ethical standards

The Successful Applicant

A successful Credit Control professional should have:

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and credit control procedures
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
• Proficiency in using finance software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in Variance Analysis advantageous

• A salary range of £26,000 - £29,000 pa
